Hidden modes
There are five gameplay modes that are hidden which includes: Non-Stop Fever, Excavation, Giant Puyo, Ice block, and spinner. To unlock these modes keep purchasing the item in the fourth tab of the shop until you unlock one of these modes. You must unlock all five individually this way.

Unlock all characters, cutscenes, and 9999 shop points
To unlock all characters, all cutscenes in the gallery, and obtain 9999 points for the shop enter the follow commands at the title screen. You will hear Carbuncle's voice if it was done correctly. This code does not unlock the items found in the shop but you can enter this code multiple times to regain all points spent at the shop.

Unlock all characters, cutscenes, and 9999 shop points: At the title screen hold L+R and then press up, down, right, left, X, B, Y, A

Unlock Hard AIs, Endless Mode dropsets etc.
Enter these codes at the specified part of the game to get the desired effect.

Choose Random Mode: Press X while in a mode select menu.
Harder CPU in Battles: Hold Select while selecting the CPU character (in Endless modes, hold select while selecting your character)
Instant Win: Press L + R + X + B + Y + A during a match. Note that you will only earn 1 point at the end of the match when you use this cheat (as if you lost).
Set Player as CPU: Hold Select while selecting the difficulty during the start of the match.
Show Nuisance Multiplier: Press Select during a match. (Pressing Select again hides it.)

The Curse of the Black Pearl

Chapter 1: Port Royal
Move right to the broken, wooden gear. Assemble the pile of brown bricks into the gear’s missing section. Switch to Mr. Brown to repair the blue winch. After fixing the winch, a key appears in the lock to the right. Turn the key to raise the gear and the donkey will stand. Break the barrel to the right and assemble the Pirate Captain switch. Go left to the donkey and ride it around its path until a sword comes out of the forge. Jump off the donkey and grab the sword. Jack Sparrow comes down the chimney and lands on the fire; he challenges Will Turner to a duel. Switch to Will Turner and attack Jack to begin the duel. After locking blades with Jack, tap the indicated button repeatedly to fill the meter. When the meter is filled, follow the button prompts as they appear on the screen. Press the correct button as indicated on the screen within the time allowed. A green light at the bottom of the screen will signal the correct button was pressed. A red light will appear on the bottom of the screen when the button pressed is incorrect or not within the allowed time. Entering two out of the three button prompts correctly will inflict damage and eliminate one heart. Continue the process to outduel Jack. After losing the first phase of the duel, Jack catapults up to the rafters above. Assemble the LEGO wall near the wagon. Switch to Will Turner and climb up the wall, then continue right. Upon reaching the ladder, climb down and head left back to Jack. Strike Jack Sparrow to continue the duel. Once he is defeated, Jack Sparrow is arrested.

Elizabeth is kidnapped by Captain Barbossa’s crew; Will needs to spring Jack Sparrow out of jail. Head right to the first cell where Jack is being held and assemble the switch there. Activate the switch to knock open the cell and have Jack added to the party. Switch to Jack and enter the cell to the right. Stand in front of the hanging skeleton; use Jack’s pistol to aim and shoot at the target. After the skeleton falls, walk over and pick up the bone on the ground. Move right and give the bone to the guard dog at the end of the corridor. Take control of the guard dog, then go left to the pet chute by the cell. Enter through the pet chute to get into the cell.. Dig in the pile to uncover the key. Pick up the key and head back out the pet chute. Place the key in the lock on the right side of the gate. Switch back to Jack and turn the two keys to unlock the gate. Exit through the open gate.

Defeat the attacking soldiers; one of which will drop a key. Pick up and place the key in the lock next to the gate. Turn the key to reveal the targets. Use Jack's pistol to shoot both targets. Proceed through the gate. Follow the path of studs down to the sand. When the compass icon appears on the screen, switch to Jack and use his compass. Move past the dig spot; follow the arrow until a red “X” appears on the sand. To reveal the hidden object, stand on the X and put away Jack’s compass. Pick up the bone and move left. Give the guard dog the bone to take control of it. Head right to the dig spot. Dig up the buried Build-it box, then switch to Jack or Will and carry the box to the right. Place the box onto the Build-it plate near the dock. Assemble a switch from the pieces. Activate the switch to drop down a rope ladder to the right. Climb up the ladder and defeat the soldiers. Move to the right, then defeat the soldiers guarding the gate. Fire Jack’s pistol while running toward the gate to defeat the armed soldier. Activate the switch near the wooden gate to reveal the target. Use Jack’s pistol to shoot the target and open the gate. Exit through the gate.

Walk left along the shoreline. Look for breakable plants, and be sure to collect the studs hidden under the bridge. Jump into the water and swim left to the end of the docks. When the prompt appears onscreen to dive, press the indicated button to dive down into the water. Continue diving all the way down to the ocean floor. Find the yellow clamshell; pick up the gear next to it. Carry the gear over to the lift and place it in one of the empty slots. Return to the yellow clamshell for air, then move left. When the compass icon appears, switch to Jack Sparrow. Use his compass to locate the second gear. Return to the lift and place the gear in the remaining slot. Turn the ship’s wheel to open the lift. Press the Jump button to swim into the lift and rise to the dock. From the dock, head down the ramp to your left. Defeat the soldiers near the key; pick up the key and head back up the ramp. Place the key in the lock against the stone column. Turn the key until a rope drops from above. Climb up the rope and slide down the line to the ship.

General Hints & Tips
Swapping Characters
A savvy captain knows a busy crew is a happy crew. Switch between characters to take advantage of each one's special abilities. To swap, tap L or R Button.

Shooting
Some pirates wield pistols or blunderbusses. To aim such a weapon, press and hold the X Button (TRIANGLE Button - PSP) to activate the targeting dot. Move the dot over your target with the +Control Pad (Directional Buttons - PSP), and release the X Button (TRIANGLE Button - PSP) to fire.

Swimming
After taking the plunge, press A Button (CIRCLE Button - PSP) to dive deeper and B Button (X Button - PSP) to swim back toward the surface.

Loot
A true pirate knows there's loot to be had everywhere, look alive and keep your eyes open for:

    LEGO Studs
    LEGO studs are scattered throughout LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean. Collect them and spend them later in the Port. Collect enough in a level and you will be hailed a true pirate.

    Red Bricks
Red Bricks unlock special extras, such as stud multipliers and special abilities, which you can purchase in the Shop. To activate a Red Brick during gameplay, open the Pause Menu and select Extras.

    Character Tokens
These are precious indeed, as each unlocks additional crew you purchase in the Shop. Once purchased, new characters join your crew in Free Play.

    Ship Bottles
There are 10 Ship Bottles to collect in each level. Eight Bottles are hidden for you to find, and two more Bottles are given to you as rewards for achieving True Pirate in Story and Free Play modes.

Fire your snowshooter Frostwind falls down and flees. When you reach the second room (with the caged hostage), shoot the Frostwind's head when it appears.

Tons of Coins
To accumulate tons of coins in a short period of time, head to the game's very first level. At the end of the level, you make a sled, ride it to the bottom of a hill, and then go through a door to end the level. Going down the hill gives you about forty coins. Do this over and over again to slowly (but surely) accumulate as many coins as you need.

Cheat: Coin Farming

If you want heaps of coins and you've got time to spare, head through the Snow Gate to Icy Lake. Enter the invincibility cheat (hold down "L" button and enter A X B B Y) then find a snow man make and make him angry. Stand close enough so he stays angry and stand far enough back so that he doesnt swipe at you. He'll throw little snowmen at you repeatedly and when the little snowmen run into you they will instantly die, dropping a silver coin. You can now just leave your DS and accumulate coins automatically (make sure you leave it plugged into a power source). Happy spending!

Spirit Flute Songs
The Spirit Flute can be used to play songs for various effects at any time when you select it from the item menu (far right). Songs can be found throughout the dungeons, villages and other areas of Spirit Tracks. They reside in stones shaped like Rocket Ships (called "Air Stones"). When you tap these stones, the song will play and colored spheres showing the correct notes on the flute's scale will stream from the rocket stone. Take out your flute and play the song shown to memorize it. You can refer to songs in the Collection menu. Here is a list of the songs and their uses

Song of Awakening
  LIGHT BLUE, RED
  Location: The Forest Sanctuary
  Learn this song in the western area of the Forest Sanctuary. The Song of Awakening wakes up the one-eyed, bunny-eared stone statues, called "Gossip Stones," found in the dark recesses of Hyrule. These statues provide Link with clues about treasure among other things.

Song of Healing
  LIGHT GREEN, WHITE, LIGHT GREEN
  Location: The Forest Temple
  The Air Stone with this tune is on the train platform at the beginning of the Forest Temple, Floor 1. You can use    the Song of Healing to restore all of your hearts once in a dungeon. After using it, you must exit the dungeon       before you can use it again.

Song of Birds
  DARK BLUE, ORANGE, DARK BLUE
  Location: Papuchia Village
  You'll be forced to learn this song on your quest for Carben, the Ocean Sage. The Song of Birds summons birds to     your side. This works on cuccos, doves and the birds that carry grapple points for your whip in the southwest     region of Papuchia Village and in the Ocean Sanctuary.

Song of Light
  DARK BLUE, YELLOW, RED, LIGHT BLUE, WHITE
  Location: Trading Post
  This Air Stone is sitting near Linebeck's grave in the northern portion of the Trading Post. The Song of Light   makes diamond-shaped crystal objects glow and emit a ray of light. You'll have to use this to solve certain     puzzles.

Song of Discovery
  RED, YELLOW, RED, LIGHT BLUE
  Location: Anouki Village
  An Air Stone in the center of Anouki Village holds this song. Play the Song of Discovery to reveal treasure  chests   and other things (like stairs) hidden in certain areas. Check circles of boulders, for instance, or the base of      trees. Usually you'll have a clue about the location of the hidden object from a map or a bunny-eared Gossip Stone   (see the Song of Awakening).

Alternate Endings
Just before boarding the Demon Train for the final battle, Zelda will ask you what you want to do after it's all over. The ending will vary depending on how you respond:

 Warrior - Zelda will hear the sounds of Link sword fighting below her window
 Engineer - Zelda will hear Link's train whistle
 Dunno - Random (???)


Hints

Goron Pep Talk Reward

After taking the small Goron to Castle Town (see our guide for more on this Force Gem) you eventually be able to strike up a conversation with him that goes something like this: He tells you he is discouraged by city life and spent all of the money his grandfather had given him. Choose to tell him to "Cheer up." The Goron child will perk up and then the game will give you 2 more choices. Pick the top one. The young Goron will thank you for the pep talk, and give you Goron Amber.

Raise the Desert
After completing the Sand Temple, go back to the Sand Sanctuary with the sand wand and raise the sand in the Sanctuary. There are 3 Big Green Rupees hidden in the sand.


Rupee Farming
You need the following to start this process: the whip and whirlwind, at least 50 rupees (more is better) and access to the Trading Post.

Go to Whittleton and use the Whirlwind to pull up all the grass. Pick up any rupees or treasure. Chances are you have already found at least two pieces of treasure and at least 15 rupees.

Go one screen to the right and pull up all the leaves there. Once you have done that, do a whip race (50 Rupees) and complete quickly and safely to earn treasure.

Pull up all the leaves again and there will be more treasure. Go down the bottom and do the same. Once you have had enough, go to Linebeck III at the trading post and cash it all in
